Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) has scheduled the next round of public input for the Smith Rock Master Plan Update.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
OPRD feels it is important to hear your thoughts before confirming the preferred development concept plan and management plan items that will become park of the Smith Rock Master Plan Update. This comes in advance of preparing a Draft Master Plan for public review (late spring 2019). All of the information shared will be available the entire time, so please feel welcome to come at a time that works best for you. For those who can not attend in person, materials will be available online October 25th, and public comment is welcome through November 30th via website or directly with OPRD’s project manager (firstname.lastname@example.org).

Smith Rock Public Meeting 2 Presentation
Thank you to all who attended the public meetings hosted in Bend and Redmond last week. Each meeting was very well attended and OPRD staff took note of the multitude of ideas, concerns and comments that were received. It was evident how many consider Smith Rock a special gem as they expressed their passion for the park.

2016 Day Use and Overnight Visitor Survey Data
There have been several requests for access to the survey data from the 2016 Visitor Survey at Smith Rock State Park. Please click on the link for the full report.
